Whenever a rocket is launched against Israel, whenever a radical Islamist carries out a terrorist attack against the free world, those acts are financed. Who are these financiers of terror? Many are Arab nations who not only use oil as a political weapon to control us, but use it to pay for terror against us.
The documentary film PUMP, by Israeli entrepreneurs and philanthropists Yossie Hollander and Eyal Aronoff, not only explains that the enemies of Israel and America are supported by oil money, but suggests one way of combatting them by achieving energy independence.
Aronoff, whose father was killed in the 1967 Six–Day War and whose stepbrother died in the World Trade Center on 9/11, says, “[ISIS] sells 50,000 to 60,000 oil barrels a day. If there’s no demand for oil, they have no money … Someone is paying for all those rockets from Gaza into Israel. We remove this oil money, we remove the ability to pay for the rockets.” Edwin Black, award-winning author of The Farhud: Roots of the Arab-Nazi Alliance in the Holocaust, writes of Iran’s oil riches paying for its nuclear program, and Qatar’s $200 billion reserves that fund Hamas: “Oil is driving it all – and more.”
PUMP is a thought-provoking film that shows how the world came to be dominated in such a way, and how we might cure our dependence on this, one of the primary sources of funding for Islamist terrorists.
